Hello All, I've been searching /usr/src/linux/Documentation/video4linux/CARD* files for specific support before I purchase some video caputure cards. I'm using kernel sources gentoo-dev-sources-2.6.9-r4....
Googling has produced: (vieo capture driver updates by Gerd Knorr) http://www.uwsg.iu.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/0210.3/2057.html Which list a particular card I'm interested in. LR136 = Flyvideo 2100/3100 (Low profile, SAA7130/SAA7134) But looking in the kernel documentation, this card (Flyvideo 2100) is not listed. Did I not get an updated list of videc capture card devices? Are there external patches to these additional video capture card supported by gentoo-dev-sources-2.6.9-r4? Maybe I need to look in a different doc file to find the 'LR136' string? Any help resolving 2.6.x kernel support before purchasing the Flyvideo 2100 card is most welcome.
