Seems there are a few good ideas here. If you want to do a clean install from the Gentoo LiveCD, you might be able to do the following:
Copy the ndiswrapper source code to a CD/Floppy (or, alternatively, obtain a binary version). Once you've booted into the Gentoo LiveCD, you should be able to mount the CD (if you have a secondary drive) or floppy with ndiswrapper on it and install it on your temporary system. Then just follow the normal instructions for enabling a Wireless card via ndiswrapper. Just a thought ... -Hani -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
