No problem. But you hit on something that I knew about, but never used, and that's resume. I assumed it wouldn't work on -e , but I tried it, and it does in fact resume. Unfortunately it is too irritating to camp out till gcc comes along, so I decided i'd just remove -fstack-protector , and put it back on when this is all over.
