I checked out the KDE split ebuild HOWTO at http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/kde-split-ebuilds.xml.
However, I did not see any mention of how to migrate from the old-style KDE monolithic ebuild to the new system. I was thinking that one would do something like this: # emerge unmerge kde # emerge -av --depclean world # emerge kde-meta Would that work, or am I missing a step?
