Ah, but it still gets run, as it's considered a critical service (somewhere in /sbin/rc). If you really don't want to run it, remove it from there too, and edit the scripts that say they 'need clock'. Then stop the service, clear the drift, and reboot. Benno -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
