This doesn't look right. Did you configure the kernel by hand? Or by using genkernel? If so, try it with 'make menuconfig' to get a consistent config.

I configured the kernel like this:
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_SIS5513=y is now enabled
CONFIG_IDEDMA_ONLYDISK=n is now disabled

I am now recompiling my kernel.
I shall send the result after rebooting my system on the new kernl .

I had compiled a new kern that support dma, restartd my gentoo, and now the dma is on.
