I have recently built a new Gentoo 2005.0 box with a stage3 tarball. I set the NPTL flag (among others) and rebuilt the entire system. It does not appear that NPTL is sticking and I am not at all sure why; instead it has pulled in the linuxthreads package. Can anybody help out here? See below:
