Hi all, I am a gentoo noob. When I run the command emerge -e system && etc-update && source /etc/profile, the make reported the following error:

I can't use Gentoo CD/DVD to bootup the system because it set the wrong screen resolution, i.e the LCD only shows "out of range" error. The box is an old Celeron 667Mhz. Any pointer appreciated.
