Sorry, James, that was my fault. I had jumped in mid-stream and hadn't realized it was an ongoing thread... Trust me there was no sarcasm intended. As far as the man page for cdrecord, it comes in as part of app-cdr/cdrtools. I don't know why you wouldn't have it if you emerged it. I don't have a doc or man use flag, it just came in...
