Either try mirrorselect -i -r -o >> /mnt/gentoo/etc/make.conf to automatically find a suitable rsync server, have a look here for your nearest rsync server and set it up manually: http://www.gentoo.org/main/en/mirrors-rsync.xml -- Regards, Mick
