Hi! I'm trying to upgrade dhcpcd to 5.2.8 (from 4.0.15). Currently it's not working so good... It compiles fine, gets a lease when rebooting... but ntp-client is not able to sync (to a remote ntp-server)... I'm also running a local maradns for dns-caching but no lookups are possible (with 5.2.8). Running 'ps -ef| grep dhcpcd' I get this for both versions:
(I'm basically asking dhcpcd to leave dns and ntp configuration alone) root 3688 1 0 17:04 ? 00:00:00 /sbin/dhcpcd -h blob -t 10 -C resolv.conf -C ntp.conf 4.0.15 works fine, 5.2.8 refuses to work. What am I doing wrong? Any help is appreciated... Best regards Peter K
