A while back I installed a bundle of perl modules outside of portage. I never got around to using a cruft script to get rid of them and now that I've moved from perl-5.12.2 to 5.12.3, I'm thinking it might be as easy as:
# rm /usr/lib64/perl5/*_perl/5.12.2 Is that safe? Should it eliminate all traces of the stale perl modules? - Grant
