That's what I think. The ati-drivers are in heavy development, KMS and all the other new shiny things. There are a few options for xorg.conf you could try. I have read about some problems with ColorTiling, so maybe setting ColorTiling to false helps a bit. See https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/ATI for some details on how to do this. Regards Michael
