Whenever I launch kde (from startx) I get a message saying that 'sb Live! 5.1 [SB0060] (rev.7, serial:0x80611102)' is disabled and it is falling back to 'sb Live! 5.1 [SB0060]' ..... and then the 'kde startup' sound plays and sound works perfectly. If I open systemsettings and click 'multimedia' and then 'phonon' it shows both of these devices with the former greyed out (it says 'this device is currently not available' when you mouse over it).
Anyone know wtf is going on? Sound works perfectly in kde..
