I always mount boot manually beforehand. sudo genkernel --no-menuconfig --save-config --bootsplash --gensplash --install --udev --kernel-config=/home/iain/configs/2.6.12-gr7-2005-08-08 --makeopts=-j3 --mountboot --gensplash=livecd-2005.1 all I'm not sure about the --bootsplash and --gensplash, but this was after trial and error with quite a few different ways, so it works and I leave it!! -- Iain Buchanan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
