That's what should be happening. fltk-1.3 is newer than fltk-2.0, notwithstanding the screwy version numbering. Do the following... emerge --ask --deep --update world unmerge =x11-libs/fltk-2.0_pre6970-r1 revdep-rebuild Assuming you've done a recent "emerge --sync", your next update will *NOT* attempt to pull in fltk-2.0 -- Walter Dnes <waltd...@waltdnes.org>
