Portage uses cascading profiles now, so /etc/make.profile inherits use.defaults from /usr/portage/profiles/default-linux/use.defaults and /usr/portage/profiles/base/use.defaults. > Should I be explicitly declaring flag or -flag in the make.conf for > every possible flag?
