There's no option to increase the reliability of the system. The options are all there to match the file system to suit your specific data. Things like number of files vs average size of files, how many inodes will you need, block size, what is your reading and writing profile, do you create and/or delete many files at one time, etc etc There's not much people on this list can do to help you with this beyond explaining how options work.
