I have a problem when updating my system. I updated all the packaged I could by typing: emerge -vu <package_name>

I ran successfully revdep-rebuild (nothing done) and emerge --depclean world (some packages removed but there is no matter with the ones above). Please, what is the problem on my system and how to remove from the installed package list the packages that are not installed anymore.
