Thanks for the input... that's about how long I've been off gentoo.  I
used it successfully on several different strains of solaris and on
debian.  In fact, it works on those hosts right now.

Still kind of puzzled about how ssh determines, when -Y is used, when
xll-forwardings are `TRUSTED'.
