After today's update to ~portage-2.2.21 rsync gives more more than I asked for on repo update; it seems rsync_excludes is no longer read or observed.
It's specified in PORTAGE_RSYNC_EXTRA_OPTS and of course the file with the exclusions exists etc. This has worked for aeons. Does anybody know what's up here? The release notes don't mention anything related (or I missed it). thanks, Holger
