I haven't bothered to set up l2tp/pptp on my router at home to try this out. I left it at the default setting of ADSL speeds on my LAN (which I'm told is about 3mbit on the x2go site) but they do have slower settings you can choose. >From what I remember it wasn't hard at all to set up and try.
