You must do emerge -e @world first, it tends to fail (always fails?) if emerge world indicates there is something to be built. So just emerge -e world, then do a depclean. The first step is going to take long enough and increase your heating bills so much, that the extra work of a few packages is not worth the stress of worrying about. -- Alan McKinnon alan.mckin...@gmail.com
