It saus: >sudo equery -q b /usr/bin/rpcgen [1] 7433 exit 1 sudo equery -q b /usr/bin/rpcgen That's why configure can't find rpcgen and the whole thing fails (see above). The question is: Why is configure looking for rpcgen despite the fact, that USE includes libtirpc (see above). Cheers Meino
