It's been a long time since I had to fetch one manually but the last time I recall doing it, I did what you did. I stuck it in distfiles, mine is elsewhere, and then it did its thing after that. So, the foo is, the ebuild may need to be reworded unless I'm missing something, and you are missing it as well. ;-) Dale :-) :-)
