I tried those things you listed, issuing a "amixer -c 0" after each one. None of them worked. Also, I'm not sure if it's important, but I cannot successfully modprobe snd-intel-hda. I CAN successfully modprobe snd-hda-intel... -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
