Karsten, Diagnosing network issues without details is a little difficult, but here's a list to start with:
1. Your dlink router is god, as far as your box is concerned. It should be the only entry listed in /etc/resolv.conf as it is caching/forwarding dns on behalf of your network. 2. Verify that you have your ip address set to be a child of the router. It will either be set up with a 10.x.x.x or a 192.168.x.x addressing range. If you're using dhcp, then your dhcp client should be pointed to the router to get it's ip address. Once you have all of this setup verified, start by eliminating networking problems in your internal network - make sure you can ping the router. -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
