from my experience, sudo usually delivers mail to root, e.g.
when a user tries to use sudo who is not allowed to.
On my machine, I have this in /etc/aliases:
root: philipp
philipp: <servername>@philippludwig.net
And then I use mail-mta/msmtp with +mta to deliver the mails
to my IMAP Inbox (I also use this setup with cron).
