Hi David- I've never used bluetooth before, much less done an emerge of gnome-bluetooth, but a quick and simple search on http://bugs.gentoo.org for the string: gnome-bluetooth yielded the following link: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=113460 Which describes your issue, and contains workarounds in the form of an ebuild patch, or a manual edit method for fixing the issue.
