No look closer, that is NOT what it says!! It says "PID 5869 stopped with status 3!" PID 5869 is foomatic-rip (see two lines above, not quoted above, but in maxim's message) "Started filter /usr/lib/cups/filter/foomatic-rip (PID 5869) for job 23." parallel is the next PID 5870 google found a few references to foomatic-rip status 3. But anyway rasing the debug level may pinpoint it better.
