I changed to this:

   splashimage=(dhb0,0)/grub/splash.xpm.gz

and

   root (hd0,0)
   kernel /2.6.12-gentoo-r10 root=/dev/hdb3

But nothing differente happened.

Concerning to Kernel name, does it must have a specific name format ?
If yes, wich would be the name ?
