Unfortunately, That's not entirely true.

According to the docs. The commands which can be mapped are gotten from
mplayer -input cmdlist 

and unfortunately, there's not -af channels=xxxxx etc.

If anyone else has a clue if it's really possible or otherwise. Please
do let me know.
