I have an update problem since when I downgrade from xorg 7.0 to 6.8.2:
I can't update some programs like xorg, kde or k3b or install licq...
The messagge is always the Xft is missing... but it is a package from
xorg 7.0...
I tried ti upgrade xorg too but it failed for the same reason (?)!
What can I do?
Try to find all ~arch x.org packages you have installed and remove
them. If you leave some xorg 7.0 stuff lying around, portage can get
confused about whether it should be using the 7.0 or 6.8 version to
satisfy dependancies.
# cd /var/db/pkg
# grep -l ~x86 x11-*/*/KEYWORDS
