I tried dozen times on Ubuntu unable to activate LV. Sorry I don't think it was keyboard problem. I also followd their installation book. The folks on their mailing list tried to assist me without result. Problem was unknown. B.R. SL -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
