On my amd64 system (using the almost the same profile) /usr/lib is a symbolic link to /usr/lib64. Of my installed packages 324 install stuff in /usr/lib*. Out of those 26 packages install into /usr/lib/, 7 install into /usr/lib32/ and 219 packages install into /usr/lib64/... Does anyone have a clue about how big of a problem (or not?) it is if /usr/lib isn't a symbolic link to /usr/lib64? Or safe instructions on how to fix it? -- Bo Andresen
