Hi I did as Ilya Hegai suggested, i.e. I unmerged Amarok, did a 'find /usr -name *amarok*' and deleted all the .la files this returned, which were: - /usr/kde/3.5/lib64/kde3/libamarok_void-engine_plugin.la - /usr/kde/3.5/lib64/kde3/libamarok_gstengine_plugin.la - /usr/kde/3.5/lib64/kde3/libamarok_xine-engine.la - /usr/kde/3.5/lib64/kde3/konqsidebar_universalamarok.la After having reemerged Amarok, it works.
