Just commenting out the local server ( the line that looks something like '0=Standard') doesn't work? I used to set up gdm that way some time ago and I don't really remember now, but I think commenting it out was enough... I used gdm for xdmcp connections and kdm for the local server ;-) to have the ability to start/stop them independently yoyo -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
