maybe the dns_domain setting is wrong i have this in my config but iam not sure if this really sets the domainname
you can also try setting this in /etc/hosts 127.0.0.1 localhost 127.0.0.1 hostname,domain-name hostname -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
