mine is a 00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801FB/FBM/FR/FW/FRW (ICH6 Family) High Definition Audio Controller (rev 04) i had to compile the snd-hda-intel as module and add the following line in /etc/modules.d/alsa: options snd-hda-intel model=6stack-digout position_fix=1 index=0 now it works pretty fine. with skype, i configured it to use OSS. don't know exactly why, but it works fine.
