I'm 44, started using UNIX in 1990 (Dynix and SunOS). Discovered Linux in 1997 or 1998 (Redhat 5.1). Moved to using FreeBSD as well as Linux in 2001 or so. Only started with Gentoo in 2006 (moved from Redhat/Fedora after getting fed up with 'rpm hell').
