I'm having difficulty getting mailman to work on the new box. I have a mailing list set up called 'phantom' that acts as a test list to make sure that mailman is working. This morning I sent a message to phantom to make sure that mailman was working. This was what was in /usr/local/mailman/logs/smtp-failure:
baby logs # cat smtp-failure Apr 27 09:45:05 2007 (18703) Low level smtp error: (113, 'No route to host'), msgid: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Apr 27 09:45:05 2007 (18703) Low level smtp error: please run connect() first, msgid: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Apr 27 09:45:05 2007 (18703) delivery to [EMAIL PROTECTED] failed with code -1: please run connect() first Apr 27 09:45:05 2007 (18703) delivery to [EMAIL PROTECTED] failed with code -1: (113, 'No route to host') Apr 27 09:45:05 2007 (18703) delivery to [EMAIL PROTECTED] failed with code -1: please run connect() first Apr 27 09:45:09 2007 (18703) Low level smtp error: (113, 'No route to host'), msgid: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Apr 27 09:45:09 2007 (18703) Low level smtp error: please run connect() first, msgid: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Apr 27 09:45:09 2007 (18703) delivery to [EMAIL PROTECTED] failed with code -1: please run connect() first Apr 27 09:45:09 2007 (18703) delivery to [EMAIL PROTECTED] failed with code -1: (113, 'No route to host') Apr 27 09:45:09 2007 (18703) delivery to [EMAIL PROTECTED] failed with code -1: please run connect() first Apr 27 09:45:12 2007 (18703) Low level smtp error: (113, 'No route to host'), msgid: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Apr 27 09:45:12 2007 (18703) delivery to [EMAIL PROTECTED] failed with code -1: (113, 'No route to host') Apr 27 09:45:15 2007 (18703) Low level smtp error: (113, 'No route to host'), msgid: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Apr 27 09:45:15 2007 (18703) delivery to [EMAIL PROTECTED] failed with code -1: (113, 'No route to host') Apr 27 09:45:18 2007 (18703) Low level smtp error: (113, 'No route to host'), msgid: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Apr 27 09:45:18 2007 (18703) delivery to [EMAIL PROTECTED] failed with code -1: (113, 'No route to host') Apr 27 09:45:39 2007 (18703) Low level smtp error: (113, 'No route to host'), msgid: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Apr 27 09:45:39 2007 (18703) Low level smtp error: please run connect() first, msgid: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Apr 27 09:45:39 2007 (18703) delivery to [EMAIL PROTECTED] failed with code -1: please run connect() first Apr 27 09:45:39 2007 (18703) delivery to [EMAIL PROTECTED] failed with code -1: (113, 'No route to host') Apr 27 09:45:39 2007 (18703) delivery to [EMAIL PROTECTED] failed with code -1: please run connect() first What does it mean, "No route to host"? I can ping websites just fine. What can I do to fix this? -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
