Hmm... I would think a xine-lib USE flag, since it is xine doing the
output work. Only thing is, I don't see which one it would be. Maybe a
USE flag of something xine-lib depends on, like libsdl? I'd think this
would be enabled by default, though.

Otherwise, I'm lost. Anybody know what to do here?

Just to be safe, I'll attach the output of
$ equery uses xine-lib
At least you can compare the USE flags to yours.
