It's pretty simple, either disable it if you dont need it. if you do, you've got 2 options .. module or compile in .. ? Why make it so difficult ?

Changed that now.  It sort of puked when I ran make by asking this:

Enable loadable module support (MODULES) [N/y/?] (NEW) N

Now I get this:

The present kernel configuration has modules disabled.
Type 'make config' and enable loadable module support.
Then build a kernel with module support enabled.

make: *** [modules_install] Error 1


Apparently it doesn't like the idea. Now what? Do I have to have modules because of this mess? o_O
