# ls -la /usr/lib/xorg/modules//libexa.so
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 55140 Feb  4 16:39 /usr/lib/xorg/modules//libexa.so

Is your access rights & ownership the same?  Have you tried rebuilding 
x11-base/xorg-server ?
