There is a reopened python2.5 stabilisation request on http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=178800 with some interesting comments... There you can find some other bugs about it in the comments...
Thanks for the link. As far as I see only a qterm depend bug is blocking. I switched to 2.5 without problems till now. As I use alot of python based programms for work I will soon notice if this was a good Idea or not. Thanks for suggestions.
