Since, /boot seldom requires work i have this in fstab /dev/sda1 /boot ext2 noauto 1 2 makes sure /boot is unmounted unless manually mounted from the shell. But, then again mistakes do happen, backups FTW :-) -- Thanks & Regards, Man Shankar <man.ee.gen(at)gmail.com>
