Great. That should take care of some troublesome packages. Say I can
delete these
/var/cache/edb/dep/usr/portage/media-gfx/p???view
/usr/portage/metadata/cache/media-gfx/p???view
/usr/portage/media-gfx/p???view
modify make.conf, and add the package name to the exclusion file.
