If you have eix installed you could use eix -I --only-names x11-libs/qt |xargs emerge -C or if you have no package that depends on qt emerge --depclean -a after emerge -C x11-libs/qt should do the job. You should do emerge -DuNva world and revdep-rebuild afterwards to be sure the system is still in clean state.
