Just another bullet point of information for the 'can't upgrade to 4.5.2 cause of qt3support' thread. I solved it here by removing 'qt3' from USE in make.conf. For whatever reason, I had both 'qt3' and 'qt4' in the USE flag. Removing 'qt3' allowed 'emerge world' to do its thing.
