Hi,

Like many of the US territories Puerto Rico lacks an addressing standard among
other issues (road names, house numbering) (this is particular worse in rural
areas) which is a problem in many aspects commerce, E-911, web calling, and
like the recent Hurricane Maria reminded us a nightmare for first responders
and emergency planing.

We are moving an initiative to address many of these issues in particular
addressing and road name. We are particularly interested on solutions that can
be easily translated to tangible results in GIS solutions (consumer grade GIS
applications on the web and mobile).

I was hoping to get some feedback on which addressing strategies (OSM
tags/nodes, standards, conventions) are more suitable for geocoding services or
just your personal experience on how geocoding services work when looking up an
address/location.

Also as a driving point on the importance (leverage) of OSM as a data source,
Im searching for known map (GIS) services (mapbox, etc) using OSM data.
